How to print from HP Envy 4520 printer

Step 1: You can print the documents of your choice using the instructions provided in this document. Go to the print window to alter the print job settings for the best result.

Step 2: Launch the app where you have created the document, tap on the File option or menu icon, and then go with the Print option to access the general print settings.

Step 3: To use more layout, advanced print settings, and quality, and tap Printer Properties, Properties, or Preferences, liable to the option available.The Document Properties or Printing Preferences window screens on your computer.

Step 4: You can modify the layout and paper settings as per your choice for your print job, menu names, and settings based on the printer model you use. You can set the paper type, paper size, orientation and, more.

Step 5: To set the orientation, go to the Orientation menu which is listed under the Layout, Feature, or Finishing tab.

Step 6: To set the paper source, click on the paper source option which is displayed on the Paper/ Quality or features tab.

Step 7: To set the paper type, click on the Paper/ Quality or Features tab, and then tap on the type, media, or paper type option.

Step 8: To set the paper size, go to the Advanced Options, click on the Size or paper Size option.

Step 9: Check whether your printer supports duplex printing, enable it when required. Use the prompts to enable the duplex printing feature.

Step 10: You can use the on- screen prompts to modify the quality and color settings for the professional print quality.

Step 11: Select the Draft mode, when the ink cartridge level is low. Go with the Normal option, when the default print quality settings is appropriate for the print job.

Step 12: Go with the Best option to get better DPI compared to the Normal mode. Choose the Max DPI option when you have highest DPI settings. You can set the print either as mono or color.

Step 13: When you chooses color, you will get the color text and images, as your printer uses all cartridges while printing. You will receive the printouts in black and white, when you choose the mono option.

Step 14: Using the Gray scale option lets your printer uses all ink cartridges to create a wider range of black and gray tones.

Step 15: Once the required modifications have been done, click on the print option, and get the printouts of your choice.
